A villa that needed to
earn its keep
This was my own villa - bought near Málaga with one clear goal: transform it into a short-term rental property that guests would love and come back to. I didn't want it to be just pretty — I cared about functionality, how the space flows and how it makes people feel when they walk in.
Working through the 4-phase process, I created a design that balanced warmth and practicality — natural materials, layered lighting, furniture that holds up to rental use without looking generic. The result? Superhost status within 6 months, all 5-star reviews and returning guests. The villa is fully booked, and as demand has grown, so have the rates.
